Terms and Conditions

North Country Legends reserves the right to change position on any mount if deemed necessary . A 50% deposit on all work is required. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work. Upon completion of your order, we will notify you for pick-up & reserve the right to display the final piece on this website.

Items not picked up 30 days after notification of completion are subject to storage charges. Unless other arrangements have been made, unpaid and unclaimed items will become the property of North Country Legends Taxidermy 90 days from notification of completion.

North Country legends is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any loss or damage incurred due to fire, theft, damage during tanning, damage or loss during shipping, power outage, or natural disaster.

All tanning is accepted at the customer’s own risk. North Country legends has no control over any skin prior to our receiving it for tanning and or mounting. Many factors have a definite impact on the final results of tanning, such as primeness, disease, and the care given to the specimen in the field. Occasionally, a skin will not tan, or will fall apart during tanning due to improper handling or to some defect in the skin for which we can not be held responsible. For these reasons, we cannot assume any responsibility or offer any guarantee related to the tanning of any skin.
